MegaETH<\/a>, an Ethereum-compatible \u2018real-time\u2019 blockchain, appears to be planning an initial coin offering (ICO). <\/p>\n This potential public token sale would take place on Sonar, a self-hosted token launch platform created by crypto investor Jordan \u201cCobie\u201d Fish, who is also a co-founder of Lido<\/a>. \u201cThe First Real-Time Blockchain. Register now,\u201d MegaETH\u2019s team shared<\/a> on X earlier today. <\/p>\n ICOs \u2013 which are a way for crypto projects to raise funds \u2013 are making a comeback in 2025, with MegaETH\u2019s move showing a shift toward community-focused, transparent sales to drive user engagement and ecosystem growth.<\/p>\n According to the project\u2019s website<\/a>, the registration window is open from today to Oct. 27. While MegaETH says details of a \u201cpotential crypto-asset offering\u201d will be announced soon, it emphasized that registration does not guarantee allocation or constitute a sale. No terms of the potential deal have been disclosed.<\/p>\n Registration is open to anyone who completes identity verification on the Sonar platform, excluding MegaETH employees and users from prohibited areas.
