Tech mogul Elon Musk has once again teased his long-held dream of building a flying car, revealing plans to showcase a prototype \u201cbefore the end of the year.\u201d Speaking on The Joe Rogan Experience<\/i> podcast, the Tesla and SpaceX chief claimed the long-delayed second-generation Roadster will feature \u201ccrazy technology\u201d that could redefine what a car even is, though, as with many of Musk\u2019s bold promises, the timeline remains uncertain.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n The comments came during Musk\u2019s latest appearance<\/a> on The Joe Rogan Experience<\/i>, recorded in the United States. When asked why the next-generation Tesla Roadster has been delayed for years, Musk responded that the company was \u201cgetting close\u201d to demonstrating the prototype. He added that the unveiling would be \u201cunforgettable \u2014 whether it\u2019s good or bad.\u201d The project, first announced in 2017 and expected to launch in 2020, has since been postponed multiple times.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n As the discussion turned to design details, Musk suggested the new Roadster could blur the line between car and aircraft<\/a>. \u201cIt has crazy technology,\u201d he said. \u201cLike, is it even a car?
