After the meet with PM Modi, Nadella said that he had an \u2018inspiring\u2019 conversation on India&#8217;s AI opportunity and commited to spending $17.5 billion help build the required infrastructure and skills in the country.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div id=\"article-index-1\">\n<p>In a post on X (formerly Twitter), Nadella wrote, \u201cThank you, PM @narendramodi ji, for an inspiring conversation on India\u2019s AI opportunity. To support the country\u2019s ambitions, Microsoft is committing US$17.5B\u2014our largest investment ever in Asia\u2014to help build the infrastructure, skills, and sovereign capabilities needed for India\u2019s AI first future. @PMOIndia\u201d<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div id=\"article-index-2\">\n<p>Meanwhile, PM Modi responded to the post, writing, \u201cWhen it comes to AI, the world is optimistic about India! Had a very productive discussion with Mr. Satya Nadella.
