Two US banks are alerting tens of thousands of customers after hackers breached the systems of a third-party vendor.<\/p>\n
In a filing with the Office of the Maine Attorney General, the Delaware-based community bank Artisans\u2019 Bank says<\/a> 32,344 customers are impacted by a cybersecurity incident at Marquis Software Solutions.<\/p>\n Marquis specializes in providing software for managing customer data, marketing and compliance, serving banks, credit unions and correctional facilities.<\/p>\n According to the firm, hackers may have compromised customers\u2019 names and Social Security numbers.<\/p>\n \u201cOn or about October 28, 2025, Artisans\u2019 learned that a third-party vendor, Marquis Software Solutions, had determined through an investigation that at least as early as August 14, 2025, an unauthorized third party had gained access to personal information on Marquis systems.
