regulation and adoption could make it a world leader in crypto by 2030, according to former Binance CEO Changpeng \u201cCZ\u201d Zhao.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>In a recent interview with Pakistan Crypto Council CEO Bilal bin Saqib, CZ <a rel=\"nofollow\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/x.com\/PakistanVARA\/status\/2006030149054275863\" rel=\"noopener nofollow\" target=\"_blank\">credited<\/a> Pakistan\u2019s leadership for recognizing the demand for digital assets among its relatively young and tech-savvy population.<\/p>\n<blockquote data-ct-non-breakable=\"undefined\"><p>\u201cI think it&#8217;s fantastic to see the country of this size are able to have this clear vision from the leadership and ability to move at this speed.\u201d<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>\u201cIf we keep moving at this speed in five years, Pakistan will be the crypto leader, one of the crypto leaders in the world,\u201d said CZ, who serves as <a rel=\"nofollow\" target=\"_blank\" ecosystem this year, including establishing the Pakistan Virtual Assets Regulatory Authority, <a rel=\"nofollow\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/cointelegraph.com\/news\/pakistan-greenlight-binance-htx-seek-crypto-exchange-licenses\">permitting crypto exchanges<\/a> Binance and HTX to operate in the country, building a Bitcoin (<a rel=\"nofollow\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/cointelegraph.com\/bitcoin-price\">BTC<\/a>) reserve, and exploring real-world asset tokenization to attract foreign investment and boost liquidity.<\/p>\n<h2>CZ bullish on Pakistan\u2019s tokenization idea<\/h2>\n<p>Asked about the benefit that tokenizing Pakistan\u2019s stock market could bring, CZ responded:<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>\u201cWhich country doesn\u2019t want the global population to buy their stocks?\u201d\u00a0<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>\u201cTokenizing stocks allows the global population to buy those tokens, that is basically direct investment into those stocks of Pakistan,\u201d CZ said.<\/p>\n<p><template data-ct-widget=\"buzzsprout\" data-buzzsprout-podcast-id=\"2040516\" data-buzzsprout-episode-id=\"18190687\"\/><\/p>\n<p>CZ encouraged Pakistan to also move quickly on its<a rel=\"nofollow\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/cointelegraph.com\/news\/imf-concern-pakistan-bitcoin-mining-power-plan\"> tokenization plans,<\/a> noting that the countries that implement them first will reap the most benefits.<\/p>\n<h2>Smaller Pakistani players can experiment with crypto too\u00a0<\/h2>\n<p data-ct-non-breakable=\"undefined\">For individuals and smaller businesses, CZ said blockchain offers many opportunities compared to <a rel=\"nofollow\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/cointelegraph.com\/news\/pakistan-greenlight-binance-htx-seek-crypto-exchange-licenses\">traditional banking<\/a> and AI due to its lower barrier to entry:\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIf a young person wants to start a bank, it&#8217;s pretty limited opportunities [&#8230;] If they want to build an AI company, they probably don&#8217;t have the large data, the large compute, all the chips, so both of those industries require quite a bit of resources to do a startup.\u201d<\/p>\n<p><em><strong>Related: <\/strong><\/em><a data-ct-non-breakable=\"undefined\"><p>\u201cThe blockchain will never reject you.\u201d<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>CZ said, \u201cBlockchain is one of the best places for entrepreneurs,\u201d but
