Michael Saylor\u2019s Strategy just dropped another $100 million into Bitcoin (BTC<\/a>).<\/p>\n It\u2019s the firm\u2019s second large buy<\/a> in a row after a $101 million purchase<\/a> last week.<\/p>\n The two sizeable acquisitions materialized on the heels of Strategy\u2019s first BTC sale<\/a> since 2022. The firm sold 32 BTC worth $2.47 million earlier this month, marking a dramatic shift in tone for the company after Saylor spent years encouraging investors to \u201cnever sell\u201d their BTC.<\/p>\n He did tip that a sale could happen, however,\u00a0suggesting<\/a>\u00a0in a recent earnings call that the firm would \u201cprobably sell some Bitcoin to fund a dividend just to inoculate the market \u2013 just to send the message that we did it.\u201d<\/p>\n After this week\u2019s purchase, Strategy now owns 846,842 Bitcoin worth $56.9 billion at time of writing.
