The Texas Parks and Wildlife Department is notifying more than three million residents after a data breach at a third-party vendor exposed sensitive information.<\/p>\n
The department says<\/a> an unauthorized actor accessed the vendor\u2019s systems and obtained driver\u2019s license details, passport numbers where provided, email addresses, phone numbers and residential addresses.<\/p>\n \u201cWe recognize the seriousness of this issue and have identified and implemented additional security options to better protect customer information. <\/em><\/p>\n Many of our staff are hunters and anglers and were affected by this incident.
