It may be too early to talk about iPhone 16, but the rumor mill is buzzing with alleged features of the phone. As per a report by MacRumours, the Apple iPhone 16 may feature a vertical rear camera layout as the iPhone 12. <\/p>\n<\/p><\/div>\n
The report cites a leakster with Twitter account name @URedditor. It says that the design could be extended to other phones under the iPhone 16 series. <\/p>\n
In case you are unaware, apple<\/a> switched to a diagonally-arranged rear camera setup with the iPhone 13 and 13 mini. The design was continued with the iPhone 14 and iPhone 14 Plus and is also likely to be adopted for iPhone 15<\/a> and iPhone 15 Plus. But not to iPhone 16.<\/p>\n As per the tipster, the change in camera layout when combined with other newer design aspects like the Dynamic Island and a USB-C port will make the device “instantly recognisable.”<\/p>\n At the time of introducing the diagonal arrangement for rear camera sensor, Apple said that “a redesigned rear camera layout with diagonally arranged lenses enables the advanced dual-camera system.” MacRumours report says that Apple may have finally figured out a way to fit camera components within a vertical orientation again.<\/p>\n Apple iPhone 16 series is expected to make a debut in September 2024. As mentioned earlier, it is too early to talk about the phone’s features as the design may change with the final product. <\/p>\n According to reports, bigger changes coming with iPhone 16 Pro and iPhone 16 Pro Max could include larger displays with 6.3-inch and 6.9-inch screens, respectively. <\/p>\n Meanwhile, Apple is rumored to be working on its ChatGPT and Bard rival. The Cupertino-based company is reportedly hiring for positions across its machine learning and artificial intelligence (AI).
