Bitcoin’s Ordinals top NFT collection rankings with US$3.4 mln in sales – Crypto News

Uncategorized Bitcoin Ordinals collection emerged as the top-ranking NFT collection on Wednesday with a 24-hour sales volume of over US$3.42 million despite a 34% drop, according to CryptoSlam.

Uncategorized Ordinals refers to digital assets on the Bitcoin blockchain that aren’t officially part of a collection.

The assortment of Bitcoin-based digital assets experienced a 12% increase in transactions, totaling 5,955 transactions.

Bitcoin collections led the NFT market despite sales for Bored Ape Yacht Club (BAYC), Yuga Labs’ blue-chip collection of 10,000 unique assets, surging by 68% in the past 24 hours to US$1.7 million.

Ethereum-based BAYC led the NFT market in sales for collections.

CryptoPunks, another Ethereum heavyweight under Yuga Labs, saw its sales tank by 33.74% to US$765,031.

Pudgy Penguins, yet another Ethereum-based collection, witnessed the day’s most significant sales jump among the top 10 sellers with a 434.94% increase to reach US$952,798.

On Solana, Mad Lads took the third spot with sales amounting to nearly US$1.81 million, a slight increase of 1.40%, and a 20% rise in transactions.

Solana’s Froganas and Ethereum’s Milady Maker both reported sales increases of 128.98% and 104.91%, respectively, with Froganas experiencing a robust 74.60% rise in transactions.

ImmutableX’s Gods Unchained Cards rounded out the top ten with a sales increase of 41% to US$645,727% and a slight decrease in transactions.
