Crypto News LIVE Updates: The total asset size of the spot Bitcoin exchange-traded funds (ETFs) stands at $30 billion. By comparison, Silver ETFs together have roughly $11 billion in assets under management (AUM). Bitcoin ETFs only lag Gold among commodity-focused ETFs in the US.

If US presidential candidate Donald Trump were to be elected, he would “never allow” the creation of a central bank digital currency (CBDC). Trump made the remarks during a campaign stop in New Hampshire. The former US president believes CBDCs would give the government “absolute control” over the public’s money.

Led by Bitcoin, which sank nearly 4%, major digital assets crashed in early morning trade on Friday. In sync with the slide, the global crypto market cap fell about 3.5% to $1.62 trillion.
