Fantom Foundation Launches Accelerator Program with Andre Cronje as Mentor – Crypto News

The program offers grants totaling 1,000,000 FTM for developing each project’s MVP.

The Fantom Foundation is launching an accelerator program to incubate the development of up to five selected projects​​​​.

The program is aimed at fostering innovation within Fantom’s Sonic technology stack. Fantom is the 35th largest chain by total value locked, according to DeFiLlama. Fantom Foundation is the non-profit dedicated to advancing the Fantom blockchain’s ecosystem.

The program offers grants totaling 1,000,000 FTM (approximately $294,000) for developing each project’s Minimum Viable Product. In addition to financial backing, selected projects will receive technical support, co-marketing, and mentorship from Fantom leaders, including Andre Cronje, the Director at Fantom Foundation​​.

“Having access to industry veterans pays dividends early in the development cycle and that is exactly what I look to provide to our Sonic Labs partners,” Cronje said.

The Sonic Labs program is open to developers building new applications using Fantom’s technology in various blockchain sectors, including GameFi and DeFi.

The application process is open until February 6, 2024, with winners to be announced shortly after. The program will be judged by Fantom Foundation executives and VC partners​​.
