OnePlus has not officially confirmed the launch of the OnePlus Fold, which is rumored to take place in August. However, specifications of the company’s first folding smartphone have been leaked, suggesting that it could be an improved version of the OnePlus 11 5G with a foldable design.

As per reports from 91Mobiles, the OnePlus Fold is anticipated to include a primary display of 8 inches, utilizing QHD+ OLED technology with a 120Hz refresh rate. Additionally, the cover display is expected to offer a viewing area of ​​6.5 inches, featuring Full-HD resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate. These displays are likely to be equipped with the same high-quality AMOLED panels found on current OnePlus flagship devices.

According to the leaked information, the OnePlus Fold is said to be powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chipset and feature a 4,800mAh battery with 80W fast charging capabilities. The highest configuration of the device might offer 16GB of RAM and 512GB of internal storage.

Similar to the OnePlus 11, the phone is rumored to have three rear cameras: a 50-megapixel camera with optical image stabilization (OIS), a 48-megapixel ultra-wide-angle lens, and a 32-megapixel periscope camera. Additionally, both the cover display and the primary display are expected to house a 32-megapixel selfie camera each.

Upon its release, the OnePlus Fold will enter the competitive market of folding smartphones, facing strong contenders such as the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 4, Google Pixel Fold, and Techno Phanton Fold.

Meanwhile, OnePlus is expected to launch the OnePlus Nord 3 5G soon in India, as a follow-up to the successful OnePlus Nord 2 model that was released in July 2021. The smartphone was recently spotted on the Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS) website. , indicating that its India launch is imminent. Earlier leaks pointed to a launch window between mid-May to mid-June for the OnePlus Nord 3 5G. A new leak has surfaced, revealing that the phone has been spotted on the OnePlus website in India, strongly suggesting that its release date is close at hand.

According to a tweet by tipster Mukul Sharma (@stufflistings), the OnePlus Nord 3 5G has been seen on the Indian website of OnePlus, hinting at an imminent launch of the smartphone in India. Additionally, the tipster mentioned that the OnePlus Nord Buds 2r could also be unveiled alongside the upcoming device.
