Vivo is reportedly gearing up to introduce the Vivo T4 5G in India as the successor to the Vivo T3 5G, which made its debut in the country in March 2024. According to a report by 91Mobiles citing tipster Yogesh Brar, the smartphone is expected to launch in April, with the company likely to start teasing the handset in the coming weeks.

Expected pricing and variants

The upcoming Vivo T4 5G is anticipated to be priced between Rs. 20,000 and Rs. 25,000. It is expected to arrive in three storage configurations – 8GB RAM + 128GB storage, 8GB RAM + 256GB storage, and 12GB RAM + 256GB storage. For comparison, the Vivo T3 5G was introduced at Rs. 19,999 for the base model and Rs. 21,999 for the higher variant.

Key features and specifications tipped

One of the standout features of the Vivo T4 5G is its expected 6.67-inch full-HD+ AMOLED quad-curved display, offering a 120Hz refresh rate for a smoother user experience. Under the hood, the smartphone is likely to be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 7s Gen 3 chipset, ensuring enhanced performance and efficiency. The handset is expected to run on Android 15-based Funtouch OS 15 out of the box.

In the camera department, the Vivo T4 5G is tipped to sport a dual rear camera setup, led by a 50MP Sony IMX882 sensor with optical image stabilisation (OIS). Accompanying this will be a 2MP secondary sensor. On the front, the device is expected to feature a 32MP selfie camera, promising high-quality images and video calls.

Battery and additional features

The smartphone is likely to house a massive 7,300mAh battery with support for 90W wired fast charging, ensuring minimal downtime. It is also expected to feature an in-display fingerprint sensor for added security, an infrared (IR) blaster, and an 8.1mm slim profile, with a weight of approximately 195g.

Launch timeline and competition

While Vivo has yet to confirm an official launch date, the 91Mobiles report suggests the unveiling could take place as early as April. The Vivo T4 5G will be entering a highly competitive mid-range market, where it will compete with the likes of OnePlus, Samsung, and Xiaomi models in a similar price bracket.
